A hint at our history...

The "Ristorante dei Pescatori"first opened in 1918 as the The Fishermen's Tavern under the management of the Cassera family, who were also the owners of the nearby distillery.
In the war period, locals gave it the name of The White Blackbird because an albino bird was the pet of the house. The locale was then named The Fishermen's or The Cassera Inn, at Vercana Wharf.
